Smith Family Sneak Peeks

This was one of the first sessions I booked for holiday photos and it was also going to be the largest group I had photographed so far, so of course it would have to be the only day we have had rain this fall! Luckily everyone was able to reschedule for the next morning, so we moved our location to one that would be drier and waited for the beautiful blue skies to come back. We were so blessed with sunny skies, although it was a bit cooler, it was not raining! The girls showed up in the cutest outfits all handmade by one of the moms in the group. Aren't they awesome!! I was very impressed, considering I can't even sew on a button!!

Parker 14 days old

Remember this beautiful mom to be http://elizabethleephotography.blogspot.com/2010/08/simpson-maternity-sneak-peek-desoto.html well her little guy is here..meet baby Parker born 3 weeks early but weighing over 6lbs. Mom seems to think that her due date must have been off because he is as healthy and active as any 2 week old should be!! Well there is no doubt he will be a wonderful, smart little guy afterall he shares a name with my oldest son!

Oh and he wins the prize as the first newborn to shower me!! Mom and Dad made it thru the session completely dry!!

What a handsome little one he was and with a full head of light brown hair.

Reese 3 months

Oh my goodness was it not the most beautiful day today. I am so excited at the temperatures lately- I am thinking we just may actually get a fall this year! It was so beautiful outside we decided to move Miss Reese's 3 month photos outside today. She was one happy little girl although her mommy said she was a bit camera shy!!

This has got to be one of my favorite shots of the year, I love this sock monkey hat it is by etsy seller FarrahJ although she is on vacation right now be sure to check out her shop!




I love how her little foot was poking out of the top of the basket!

Simpson Maternity Sneak Peek

Thanks for braving the heat, I remember what it was like to be in your last trimester during the Memphis summer heat. My daughter was born the end of August, payback I guess for my mid- August birthday! Thank goodness for some A/C!! Your images turned out great and I am busy editing them- I will email you when your gallery is ready for viewing. Oh and I can't wait to meet your little one in just a few short weeks.

Baby Aubrey Sneak Peeks

I had the pleasure of photographing Aubrey's mom and dad for maternity photos just a few weeks ago. On the morning I sent them the link to their completed gallery I got a text from Aubrey's dad- they were at the hospital, she was coming early. Aubrey's mom was so worried that we would miss the opportunity to capture her at her sleepiest since we were not scheduled for her newborn photos until July 3rd! But I always fit my newborn babies in...and how happy was I when she showed up sound asleep...she slept for most of the session and was a joy to photograph, always keeping her legs curled up.

Thanks for letting me photograph your special little one, looking forward to seeing her grow big this year and capturing those special moments in her life.

Sinn Maternity Sneak Peek

What a beautiful mom- to - be. We scheduled these photos just in time as the azaleas were in full bloom- the following weekend I went back to the same spot and nothing was still in bloom! It was a bit windy this day and cold- but she was strong and we got some great photos for her to always remember this time in her life. Look for sneek peaks of Baby Avery coming soon!

Gaines Family Sneak Peek

Oh my this photo session was a classic southern session. Azalea gardens, a beautiful dress, and cute fun loving siblings. I had no trouble getting these two to laugh and smile at each other. They were wonderful to photograph and I love how their photos turned out. Mom did too - she ordered a 20X24 of each for her dinning room.

Although I have been in business now for a little over a year I still get excited and goosebumps when I walk into a previous clients home and see my photos on their wall -or even better see a photo they post on facebook and my portraits are in the background. I love it!! Thank you.

Miss A Sneak Peek

Maternity Sneak Peek

I recently moved into a new department at my day job and found out that one of my coworkers was just a few weeks away from expecting her 2nd child. So one day at lunch we snuck out for some fun maternity photos at a local office complex. She has such a beautiful bump and this office park was perfect. I was surprise nobody cared that we were there taking photos on their grounds.

Nashville Photographers weekend

I was lucky enough to meet up with several photographers from one of my online groups in April. We had a wonderful weekend photographing in downtown Nashville. Oh how I wish I lived in Nashville it was beautiful and so were our models this weekend.
